Hoping someone has an idea for this issue. So I have Numerus Dell laptops most Latitude A handful of users are reporting sound and mic issues when using zoom. The Lapto meetings are with multiple different people. Testing the sound and mic using windows mic test, youtube, go-to-meeting, and others I can't replicate the issue. Since all laptops are Dell, I have used the Dell command to update drivers and make sure windows updates are done, have also installed the zoom desktop zoom audio issues on dell laptop, but the issue is still appearing whether app zoomed in user is using the web app or desktop app.
I have pn the issue twice, closing the application and rejoining a couple of times seems to zoom audio issues on dell laptop the zoom gratis para pc. I am hoping someone has a better fix? Unfortunately there isn't much to go on. I had issues like this in the past and it was our firewall. Our firewall tries to inspect traffic coming in through secure protocols like httpsSince I manage this, I was able to hop in and create a new rule specifically for Zoom.
The rule allows any user internally to access a slew of Zoom related ip addresses without any filtering. I only allow to these ports.
Two thoughts. Perhaps your Dell laptops zoom audio issues on dell laptop Windows are busy doing other tasks when the user is using Zoom and maybe shutting down tasks and tabs in browsers may help. What is the actual issue?
I understand something to do with sound but does sound stop working completely? Hardware not dfll Sorry for not being very clear, issues are not sure if related or separate Mic stops responding, Mic not transmitting sound but shows in windows that mic is picking up sound. Can't hear other parties, other parties can't hear the user.
This seems to be only a handful of Users having these issues. If zoom audio issues on dell laptop disconnect from Zoom and rejoin a couple of times, then it appears to work most of the time. Here is a link to Zoom range of ip addresses. This topic has been locked by an administrator and is no longer open for commenting. To continue this discussion, please ask a new question.

XPS low volume in zoom meeting - Dell Community - Part 2: Enable Audio and Unmute Yourself
I have the same problem with my brand new inspiron , and my colleague as well with her inspiron, she uses her own personal MAC for zoom meeting, what is the problem with the Dell Laptop microphone?
I have spent a chunk of money on my new laptop, and not impressed so far. MiaVision I'm also curious if this was resolved as I'm having the same problem as NeilM-F4L and am pulling my hair out trying to fix it. It doesn't seem to matter whether I use the laptop's internal microphone, or what type of port or headset I've used - I've been told my audio is cutting in and out.
This doesn't seem to happen in MS Teams for me, only in Zoom. Browse Community. Turn on suggestions. Unfortunately the issue of glitching sound only affects my laptop. It doesn't matter whether there are just two of us on the zoom, or ten. The same thing happens. I've tried different times of the day, still the same. Same issue for me and I'm a teacher! It broke up my classroom twice today. This happens on two different laptops both with the Zoom requirements fully met and running Windows 8.
This happens in meetings of multiple sizes and I'm hearing from my students that a few of them have the same issue. It happens when I log in directly from their website, use our in-school login or use the Zoom app.
It began after the June 1 updates. I never had that error message prior to that, even though we've been using Zoom since mid-March. Just one thing I've been trying which seems to have worked so far is to run the laptop just off battery power when using zoom.
Interestingly, the issue only happens with the power supply connected. Just thought I'd share in case it helps you out temporarily until we can work out a permanent fix. I am having this very same issue and it only began after investing into a brand new Lenovo laptap with intel core i5 8th Gen. My old laptop was a Core i3 and no problems with Zoom. I am an online teacher and this is really making things difficult. I use Zoom and powerpoints and videos. NEVER a problem until using the new laptop.
So weird! I love my laptop because it so much faster and smoother with all other apps and platforms except Zoom :. I am happy that I'm not alone. Let's see how that goes. Unfortunately I haven't found a permanent fix to this yet.
There MUST be something underlying causing this issue, but no-one seems to be able to help. I even raised this as an issue with the zoom team, but they are prioritising support for their paid-service customers, so closed my issue immediately. The only thing that has worked for me is using zoom with the power supply cable disconnected. Not ideal, but it seems to work for short term zoom calls. Really hoping someone can come up with a permanent fix for this too, as it is just so frustrating!
I totally sympathise with you. PS - we also bought two other similar slightly lower spec HP Pavilion laptops at the same time as my one for our twin daughters and they work fine, which leads me to think this is something specific to the model we have Hello, all -- I have had this same issue and found another article addressing this and here is the link.
