When I tried to highlight a specific area outline, zoom with mouse I am getting areas hundreds of miles away more often than not. Emails to WU are acknowledged but seldom answered. I feel like I have lost an old friend. I have been enjoying Weather Bug for years. I try other apps but always come back to Weather Bug. I use windows on my computer with a 32 inch monitor.
Intellicast used to be great until Weather underground appeared and now it is useless. Intellicast was my favorite, too, but when it was bought out by Weather Underground, somehow they managed to miss the ease and speed of loading, and moved it to a more finicky system.
I hope someday someone puts out something as good as Intellicast. Thanks for the nice list! They even have hotspot depiction for earthquakes and wildfires. I use the hurricane tracker to see if my family in Florida is threatened. I use the aviation layers as preliminary part of flight planning. It even has weather warning notifications.

Data is encrypted in transit. You can request that data be deleted. My favorite app. Except now there is a bug. When I open it the radar screen defaults to the same zoomed out position. Making me have to adjust it every time.
Before this bug, if I zoomed in or out and closed and opened the app my zoom position would stay in the same place. Which is a nice feature. Please fix or bring back that feature. In general I like the app a lot, enough to buy the pro version. But, after a recent update, it constantly pops up a notification re: a wildfire hot spot near me.
I dismiss the notification and it reappears, repeatedly. The notification is wrong for many reasons: I'm in a large city.
I checked the map to verify there's no wildfire or hot spot near me. I'd like to know about wildfires, but nuisance notifications don't help anyone.
They only lead to users turning them off or tuning them out. Lately, it's been difficult to pull up any weather alerts within the app. If I click on a push notification of an alert, it only takes me to the radar.
Clicking on the areas that have zones only moves the map. Although the app pushed a notification that we're currently in a tornado watch, there isn't any indication within the app itself. Detailed alerts should be easily found within the app, but they're not. Uninstalling as the Pro version no longer provides detailed weather or warnings.
